Matlub, Advocate for the petitioner. 2. Petitioner preferred appeal against demolition order. The Chairman, District Level Development Authority/ Commissioner, Garhwal decided the appeal on 15.05.2026, permitting the petitioner to file compounding application within fifteen days. 3. According to petitioner, due to ill health of her husband, compounding application/map could not be submitted within the stipulated time. 4. Learned counsel for petitioner submits that having regard to the peculiar facts of the case, the time for submitting compounding application/map deserves to be extended for another two months. 5. Since petitioner has made representation to the Secretary of the Development Authority concerned, therefore, the writ petition is disposed of with a request to the competent authority to take decision on petitioner’s representation, as per law, within two weeks from the date of presentation of certified copy of this order. Only for a period of two weeks, petitioner’s house shall not be demolished.
