JUSTICE ANJAN MONI KALITA ORDER Date : 01.06.2026 Heard Mr. G. Chamuah, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the accused- applicants. Also heard Mr. B. Sarma, learned Addl. P.P., representing the State. This is an application filed under Section 482 of the BNSS, 2023, praying for grant of pre-arrest bail to the accused-applicants, apprehending arrest in connection with Abhayapuri P.S. Case No. 28/2026, registered under Sections 140(3)/309(6)/351(2) of the BNS, 2023. The learned Addl. P.P., submits that in the instant case, charge-sheet has been filed, vide Charge-sheet No. 72/2026, dated 22.04.2026 before the SDJM (M), North Salmara, Abhayapuri, Assam. Considering the aforesaid aspect and since the accused-applicants have been cooperating with the investigation, this Court is of the considered opinion that the accused-applicants should be allowed to appear before the SDJM (M), North Salmara, Assam within a period of 10 days from the date of passing of this order. The interim order so passed earlier shall continue till their appearance in the court of SDJM (M), North Salmara, Assam, for appropriate relief, if so advised.
