GP FOR MUNCIPAL ADMN URBAN DEV 4 The Court made the following: The petitioners are apprehending interference by respondent Nos. 2 to 10 at behest of respondent Nos. 11 to 13. It is submitted that the petitioners have a valid street vending licences and are physically disabled. It is submitted that respondent Nos. 11 to 13 are instigated the official respondents to dispossess the petitioners from their place of vending. In this regard the petitioners submitted a representation dated 27.06.2026 to the 2nd respondent. However, there has been no response from the 2nd respondent. It is submitted that the livelihood of the petitioners would be affected in the event they are dispossessed from their present area of business. 2. The learned Standing Counsel appearing for respondents Nos.2 and 4 submits that the petitioners are street vendors and their licences are valid and subsisting. It is also submitted that any action on the part of respondent Nos. 2 and 4 would be taken in accordance with law. However, it is submitted that the dispute between the petitioners and respondent Nos. 11 to 13 appears to be the motive behind the filing of the present writ petition. 3. Recording the submissions, the writ petition can be disposed of by directing the 2nd respondent to consider the representation submitted by the petitioners and dispose of the same in accordance with law. It is also made clear that the petitioners shall not be disturbed from their present place of vending as long as they possess valid street vending licences. 5 4. With these observations, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
