The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Lesliglanj P.S. Case No. 44 of 2023, registered under sections 406, 409, 120-B read with section 34 of the I.P.C, pending in the Court of learned Judicial Magistrate, Palamu. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was working as Panchayat Sevak and allegations are made of embezzlement of government money meant for Pradhanmantri Awaas Scheme (Rural). He further submits that the said allegation is made against many persons and Panchayat Secretary has been granted anticipatory bail in A.B.A. No. 5338 of 2024, Panchayat Mukhiya has been granted anticipatory bail in A.B.A. No. 4648 of 2024 and other co-accused persons have been granted anticipatory bail in A.B.A. No. 108 of 2025 and A.B.A. No. 1526 of 2025. He submits that petitioner has got no criminal antecedent which is disclosed in para 14 of the petition. He next submits that petitioner will co-operate in the investigation On these grounds, he submits that the petitioner may kindly be provided privilege of anticipatory bail. 4. Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer and submits ( 2026:JHHC:12086 ) that allegations are there of embezzlement of government money meant for Pradhanmantri Awaas Scheme (Rural). 5. Considering that Panchayat Secretary has been granted anticipatory bail in A.B.A. No. 5338 of 2024, Panchayat Mukhiya has been granted anticipatory bail in A.B.A. No. 4648 of 2024 and other co-accused persons have been granted anticipatory bail in the aforesaid A.B.As. The petitioner has got no criminal antecedent which is disclosed in para 14 of the petition and the petitioner will co-operate in the investigation. 6. In the attending facts and circumstances of the case, I am inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the above named, petitioner is directed to surrender before the learned court within three weeks from today and in the event of his surrender / arrest, the petitioner shall be released on bail, on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 25,000/- (twenty five thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Judicial Magistrate, Palamu, in connection with Lesliglanj P.S.
