The present appeal has been filed by the appellant-Insurance Company against the judgment and award dated 12.10.2017, passed by learned Motor Accident Claims Tribunal & Essential Commodities Act, Jaipur Metropolitan, Jaipur in MAC Case No.593/2014 (40/13), whereby the claim petition filed by the respondents-claimants was partly allowed and a sum of [2026:RJ-JP:11310] (2 of 2) [CMA-92/2018] Rs.13,32,000/- was awarded in favour of claimants, along with interest @ 6% per annum, from the date of filing of claim petition. 2. Learned counsel for both the parties have jointly submitted that both the parties have arrived at a consensus to resolve their dispute amicably and have no objection if the compensation amount awarded by the learned Tribunal is reduced by a sum of Rs.1,25,000/-. 3. In view of the above consented terms, the compensation amount, awarded vide judgment and award dated 12.10.2017, of Rs.13,32,000/- is reduced by Rs.1,25,000/- and accordingly, the compensation amount will be Rs.12,07,000/-. The remaining terms of the award shall remain intact. 4. In view of the above, the impugned judgment and award dated 12.10.2017 is modified. 5. The present appeal is disposed of in the above terms. 6. The record of the learned Tribunal be sent back forthwith. 7. All pending application(s), if any, also stand disposed of.
