(2) Petitioner has sought a direction to the respondent authorities to take decision on his representation. (3) Learned State Counsel submits that petitioner has made representation to District Magistrate, while representation should have been made to Sub Divisional Magistrate. (4) Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner will make fresh representation to Sub Divisional Magistrate, who may be directed to take decision thereupon at an early date. (5) Writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of with liberty to petitioner to make representation to Sub Divisional Magistrate concerned within two weeks. If he makes representation within stipulated time, decision thereupon shall be taken, as per law, within four months thereafter. (6) It goes without saying that person(s) likely to be affected by the decision to be taken shall be given reasonable opportunity of hearing before taking any decision in the matter.
