This application has been filed for modification of order dated 24.02.2023 passed in A.B.A. No. 7877 of 2022 with a prayer to extend the period of surrender of the petitioner in the Court below. 3. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that petitioner had moved before this Court in anticipatory bail application vide A.B.A. No. 7877 of 2022 and this Court vide order dated 24.02.2023 had granted anticipatory bail and the petitioner was directed to surrender in the Court below within four weeks from the date of the order, but the petitioner could not surrender in the Court below within the aforesaid period. 4. It is further submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that petitioner could not surrender due to misunderstanding and miscommunication with the conducting lawyer and the stipulated time was expired. So, it is prayed that for the ends of justice, the period for surrender of the petitioner in the Court below may be extended by further six weeks. 2026:JHHC:12110 5. Having considered the argument advanced by learned counsel for the petitioner and perused the petition, it appears that this miscellaneous petition has been filed after inordinate delay of three years after bail was granted on 24.02.2023 in A.B.A. No. 7877 of 2022. Accordingly, no ground is made out to extend the time for surrender, hence, this criminal miscellaneous petition is rejected. (Pradeep Kumar Srivastava, J.)
