A scuffle took place between neighbours. However, no grievous injuries were caused. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail. She submits that the petitioner is the principal accused who caused a grievous injury on a vital part of the body of the victim lady, like the head. She also received injuries on other portion of her body. Reliance is placed on the injury report and the statements of witnesses. Considering the above and the other incriminating materials available in the case diary and the alleged role ascribed to the present petitioner, I do not consider this is to be a fit case for granting anticipatory bail.
