Crl.M.P.Nos.4207 & 4209 of 2026 Crl.A.Nos.1635 & 1636 of 2024 respectively, during the pendency of the criminal appeals. In both petitions: For Petitioner : Mr.Ravi, Senior Advocate, Assisted by Mr.M.Ramamoorthi For Respondent : Mr.K.M.D.Muhilan, APP COMMON ORDER Vide common order dated 27.12.2024 made in Crl.M.P.Nos.18328 & 18338 of 2024 in Crl.A.Nos.1635 & 1636 of 2024, this Court had suspended the sentences imposed on the petitioner on certain conditions. These petitions have been filed by the petitioner seeking modification of the condition imposed at Para No.6(i) of the said order pertaining to the appearance of the petitioner before the Trial Court. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner had suffered stroke and he is currently hospitalized for medical treatment and hence, he is unable to comply with the condition imposed by this Court. Accordingly, he prayed for relaxation of the abovesaid condition imposed by this Court directing the petitioner to appear before the trial court on the 1st working day of every month. 2/5 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis

3. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record. 4. In view of the above submissions made by the learned Senior counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent, this Court is of the considered view that the prayer as sought by the petitioner could be acceded to. 5.
Accordingly, these criminal miscellaneous petitions stand ordered and the condition insofar as appearance of the petitioner before the Trial Court as imposed by this Court at Para No.6(i) of the common
order dated 27.12.2024 made in Crl.M.P.Nos.18328 & 18338 of 2024 in Crl.A.Nos.1635 & 1636 of 2024 alone stands modified to the effect that the petitioner is permitted to be represented by a counsel of his choice to appear before the trial court on the 1st working day of every English calendar month at 10.30 am., until further orders.
