P.P., representing the State. This is an application filed under Section 482 of the BNSS, 2023, praying for grant of pre-arrest bail to the accused-applicant, apprehending arrest in connection Page No.# 2/2 with Dispur P.S. Case No. 986/2025, registered under Sections 406/420/465/466/468 of the IPC. This Court, vide order dated 25.03.2026, has granted interim pre-arrest bail to the accused-applicant with a direction to the accused-applicant to appear before the Investigating Officer within 7 days and to cooperate with the investigation. The learned counsel appearing for the accused-applicant submits that in terms of the aforesaid order dated 25.03.2026, the accused-applicant has already appeared before the Investigating Officer and got his statement recorded. He further submits that the accused-applicant is fully cooperating with the investigation and therefore, the interim order so passed should be made absolute. Mr. Goswami, learned Addl. P.P., also confirms that the accused-applicant has appeared before the Investigating Officer and is cooperating with the investigation. In view of the aforesaid submissions and taking into account the fact that the accused-applicant is cooperating with the investigation, the interim order passed on 25.03.2026 is hereby made absolute.
