Petitioner applied for domestic electricity connection. The Sub Divisional Officer of the concerned Electricity Distribution Division issued a communication to the petitioner on 23.05.2026 asking him to get No Objection Certificate from his father, who owns the property. Thus, feeling aggrieved, petitioner has approached this Court. 4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that similar issue was decided by this Court in WPMS No. 3014 of 2025. He submits that this writ petition deserves to be decided in terms of that order. 5. Learned counsel appearing for the Uttarakhand Power Corporation Ltd. submits that property for which petitioner wants electricity connection, has been gifted to his sister. Electricity has become necessity, therefore, electricity connection cannot be denied to a person, merely because there is title dispute pending between the applicant and some other person. 7. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the writ petition is disposed of in terms of the order dated 10.11.2025 passed in WPMS No. 3014 of 2025.
