Public Prosecutor, Assam. 2. This is an application under Section 482 of the BNSS, 2023 praying for pre-arrest bail in respect of Badarpur P.S. Case No.48/2025, under Sections 21(1)/21(2)/21(3) of the BNS, 2023. 3. Two persons namely, Md. Sakir and Rajdeep Dev had lured different people to invest money in the stock market with a promise to have high returns. Initially, they started in a small manner. But after gaining faith of people, they expanded their business. Crores of rupees were collected from different investors. At the initial stage, many people got high returns against their investments. But with the passing of time, the investors were not paid any returns. 4. It is alleged that Md. Shakir and Rajdeep Deb had employed different agents to trap the investors. The present petitioner Ifzal Hussain is a cousin of Md. Shakir. He was also an agent who had collected money from different investors. 5. After going through the case diary, it is found that the present petitioner was actively involved in the acts of Md. Shakir and Rajdeep Deb. This is a serious economic offence. A thorough investigation is necessary. Therefore, the present petitioner Ifzal Hussain is not entitled to the privilege of anticipatory bail. His bail application is dismissed and disposed of accordingly. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
