Affidavit-of-service, as filed by the petitioner, be kept on record. 2. In spite of service, none appears on behalf of the school authorities. 3. The petitioner’s grievance that in spite of necessary applications made, his plea for transfer is not being considered by the concerned District Inspector of School on the ground of incapability of the District Inspector of School to make an alternative arrangement. 4. Mr. Vaisya, learned advocate appearing for the State submits that there is no willing teacher available to fill up the vacancy that will arise after the petitioner’s transfer. 5. In view of the decision of this Hon’ble Court in Gokul Chandra Malick vs. State of West 2 Bengal & Ors. in MAT 1218 of 2024 and Rupak Dhua vs. State of West Bengal & Ors. in FMA 995 of 2025, the respondent no. 6 is directed to forward the application of the petitioner to the commission by May 15, 2026. 6. The concerned authorities will take all consequential steps in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible. 7. The suspension of ‘Utsashree Portal’ will not be an impediment for the concerned authority to consider the application for transfer of the petitioner. The same shall be considered in an offline mode. 8. With the aforestated directions, the writ petition is, thus, disposed of. 9. There shall, however, be no order as to costs. 10.Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties on usual undertaking. (Reetobroto Kumar Mitra, J.)
