The Court made the following: 3 THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE TARLADA RAJASEKHAR RAO WRIT PETITION No.30871 OF 2021 ORDER: The present Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following relief: “…to issue a Writ, Order or direction more particularly one in the nature of WRIT OF MANDAMUS declaring the action of the Respondent No.2 in not allotting the duties and kept the petitioner on hold since from 01.07.2021 is bad, illegal, arbitrary, discriminatory, contrary and violation of principle of natural justice and consequently direct the Respondent no.2 to allot the duties to the petitioner and to pay salary along with arrears in accordance to law and to pass such other order or orders.…” 2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for respondents. 3. The present writ petition is filed challenging the action of the respondents in not allowing the petitioner to attend duties and kept the petitioner ‘on hold’ since 01.07.2021. 4. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Services-III has placed written instructions (forms part of record), dated 31.07.2026, which was addressed by the Assistant Director, Commissioner and Director of Municipal Administration, A.P. The said instructions transpires that petitioner was permitted to join duty vide proceedings in Roc.No.125/2022/C1, dated 06.07.2022. Learned Assistant Government Pleader also submits that as the 4 petitioner was permitted to discharge duties, nothing survives in the writ petition to adjudicate further. 5. Therefore, the present Writ Petition is closed. However, with regard to salary of the petitioner for the period of one-year i.e., from 01.07.2021 to 06.07.2022, the petitioner is permitted to file an application before the competent authority ventilating his grievance. On filing such application, the respondents are directed to examine the same and pass appropriate orders, in accordance with law. There shall be no order as to costs.
