BEFORE HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE KARDAK ETE ORDER Date : 01-06-2026 None appears for the petitioner on call. Page No.# 3/3 Heard Md. A. Hussain, learned counsel for the respondent No. 1. Perused the grounds for review of the order dated 29.05.2024 passed in WP(C) No. 2741/2024. The review petitioner, claiming to be the legally married wife and successor of the deceased government servant, contends that she was not arrayed as a party respondent in WP(C) No. 2741/2024. Therefore, prays for review of the order dated 29.05.2024. By the order sought to be reviewed, this Court had disposed of the writ petition on the basis of the submission of the learned Standing Counsel, P&RD, that the competent authority to consider the claim for family pension and other retirement benefits of the deceased employee was the Principal Secretary, BTC, Kokrajhar and not the Commissioner, P&RD. Accordingly, liberty was granted to the writ petitioner to approach the Principal Secretary, BTC, Kokrajhar for consideration of her claim. It is noticed that after filing of the present review petition, the review petitioner remained unrepresented on several occasions when the matter was listed.
Today also, none appears on behalf of the review petitioner. Having considered that no ground is made out for review of the order dated 29.05.2024 passed in WP(C) No. 2741/2024 and also considering that the review petitioner has remained unrepresented on three consecutive occasions when the matter was listed, the review petition stands dismissed and disposed of.
