The petitioner has preferred this writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking following reliefs :- 101. That, the Court may kindly be pleased to pass appropriate writ(s)/order(s) and kindly direct the respondents to pay the compensation amount of 1,31,05,926/- to the petitioner within a fixed time period, along with interest at the prevailing rate of bank interest, as may be deemed fit by this Court. 102. That, the Court may kindly be pleased to pass appropriate writs(s)/order(s) and direct respondent No. 3 to register the said land and disburse the due amount to the petitioner within a fixed time period. 10.3. Any other relief/direction that the Court may deem fit in the facts and circumstances of the case. 2. In compliance of order of this Court dated 10-4-2026, the respondents have filed affidavit of the Sub Divisional Officer (Revenue), Kunkuri, in which they have stated that the land acquisition proceeding has been initiated and the same shall be concluded within 3 months from the date of filing of the affidavit i.e. 13-4-2026 and immediately thereafter, compensation shall be disbursed to the petitioner. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, in the light of the affidavit filed by the Sub Divisional Officer (Revenue) Kunkuri, Distt. 3 Jashpur and the contention made by learned counsel for the State that acquisition proceeding shall be concluded within 3 months from 13-4- 2026, this writ petition may be disposed of directing the respondents to conclude the acquisition proceedings within aforesaid period. 4. In view of above submission, this writ petition is disposed of directing the respondents to conclude the acquisition proceedings as early as possible preferably within 3 months from 13-4-2026. 5.
