04/24.04.2026 Heard learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and learned counsel appearing for the State.
2. The petitioners are apprehending their arrest in connection with Hunterganj P.S. Case No.171/2025, registered for the offence under Section 309(6) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, pending in the Court of the learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Chatra.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submits that the petitioners have been falsely implicated in the case. He further submits that name of the petitioners has come on the confessional statement. He next submits that the petitioners are having no criminal antecedent, as disclosed in paragraph 13 of this application. On these grounds, he submits that anticipatory bail may kindly be granted to the petitioners.

Learned counsel appearing for the State opposed the prayer and submits that the apprehended co-accused have taken name of the petitioners and the allegations are there of snatching mobile and money in the highway.
5. Considering that name of the petitioners has come on the confessional statement and the petitioners are having no criminal antecedent, as disclosed

in paragraph 13 of this application and in that view of the matter, the petitioners are directed to surrender before the learned Court within two weeks from today and the learned Court shall release the petitioners on such terms and conditions as the learned Court may deem fit and proper.
6. Accordingly, this application is disposed of.
