2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Manihari P.S. Case No. 04/2026 registered for the offences punishable under Section 309(4) of B.N.S.
3. As per the prosecution case, unknown criminals looted Rs. 75,050/- from a Finance Company.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has falsely been implicated in the case. Learned counsel further submits that he has no criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 07.01.2026. The petitioner undertakes to co-operate in the case/ trial.
5. Learned APP for the State has opposed the prayer for regular bail of the petitioner on the ground that during
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.22203 of 2026(2) dt.01-04-2026 2/2 investigation, it has come that the petitioner was a part of the conspiracy for looting the amount.
6. Considering the gravity of the offence, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
7. Accordingly, this application stands dismissed.
8. The Superintendent of Police, Katihar is directed to ensure that the petitioner is taken to the examination center to appear in the B.A. examination on the scheduled dates.
