THE COMMISSIONER OF SCHOOL EDUCATION, VENKATADRI TOWERS, ATMAKUR (M) MANGALAGIRI, AMARAVATI GUNTUR. 522503 ...RESPONDENT(S): Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed therewith, the 2 High Court may be pleased topleased to issue an order, writ or direction, more particularly one in the nature of WRIT OF MANDAMUS declaring the action of the respondents in preparing and publishing the provisional/final selection list under AP Mega DSC-2025 by adjusting meritorious candidates belonging to BC- A, BC-B, EWS and other reserved categories against their respective reserved category vacancies instead of accommodating them against the Open Competition category, contrary to Rule 22 of the Andhra Pradesh State and Subordinate Service Rules, 1996, as amended by G.O.Ms.No.77, General Administration (Services- D) Department, dated 02.08.2023, as illegal, arbitrary, and in violation of the principles of natural justice, as well as violative of Articles 14 and 16 of the Constitution of India and consequently set aside the impugned selection list to the said extent and further direct the respondents to redraw and revise the merit list, roster and selection list by strictly implementing the procedure prescribed under G.O.Ms.No.77 dated 02.08.2023, by first adjusting all meritorious reserved category candidates against the Open Competition vacancies and thereafter filling the vacancies earmarked for the respective reserved categories from among the eligible candidates in the order of merit and consequently consider the candidature of the petitioners for selection and appointment to the respective posts against the vacancies that become available upon such revision, with all consequential service and monetary benefits, including seniority, notional continuity of service and attendant benefits, and pass IA NO: 1 OF 2026 Petition under Section 151 CPC praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed in support of the petition, the High Court may be pleased Pleased to direct the respondents not to give effect to the impugned provisional/final selection list to the extent it has been prepared by adjusting meritorious reserved category candidates against their respective reserved category vacancies in violation of 3 G.C.Ms.No.77, General Administration (Services-D) Department, dated 02.08.2023, and to redraw the merit list and selection list by adjusting such candidates against the Cpen Competition category, and consequently consider the petitioners for selection against the vacancies that become available, pending disposal of the above writ petition in the interest of justice and pass Counsel for the Petitioner: 1.
