The instant application under section 482 of the BNSS has been filed by the petitioner praying for granting of pre arrest bail in connection with Kohima South PS Case No.24/2020 registered under section 420/468/471 of the IPC. Page No.# 2/2 On 28.04.2026, this Court had granted ad interim bail to the petitioner with the condition that the petitioner shall cooperate in the investigation and appear before the I.O on 30.04.2026 and record his statement. It was also directed that the petitioner shall not abscond and the petitioner shall not hamper and tamper with the evidence. Mr. V. Zhimomi, learned P.P has produced the Case Diary and submitted that the accused/petitioner had appeared before the I.O. on 30.04.2026 as directed by this Court and his statement has been recorded. The learned P.P. has also fairly submitted that the petitioner/accused has not violated any of the conditions imposed by this Court till date and no adverse remark has been received from the I.O. This Court has considered the facts and circumstances of the case and is of the view that the petitioner has been cooperating in the investigation and has complied with the direction of this Court and further the Case Diary has not revealed any adverse remark regarding the conduct of the accused/petitioner. Accordingly, the ad interim bail granted on 28.04.2026 is made absolute on the same terms and conditions with one additional condition that the petitioner shall continue to appear before the I.O as and when summoned without fail till completion of the investigation.
