By way of this petition, the petitioner is praying for issuance of directions to the respondents to allow him to continue to serve beyond the age of 58 years till he attains the age of 60 years, on the ground that he happens to be a Class-IV employee and this Court has already issued direction to this effect in the case of persons similarly issued directions to this effect in the case of persons similarly situated as the petitioner, i.e. CWP No.2274 of 2021, titled Satya Devi Versus State of Himachal Pradesh & others, decided on 28.05.2024. 3. Learned Additional Advocate General, on the other hand submits that the State has assailed the judgment of this Court, which is pending before the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India and 1 Whether reporters of the local papers may be allowed to see the judgment? 2 2026:HHC:6625 there is a stay operating against the same. 4. In light of said fact, this petition is disposed of with the direction that the parties herein shall be bound by the adjudication, which is pending before the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India and if the petition is decided in favour of the employee therein, then similar benefits be granted to the petitioner also.
