(Oral) By means of the present writ petition, petitioner has challenged the impugned transfer order dated 10.06.2026, whereby, she was transferred from Haridwar to Rudraprayag. 2. The impugned transfer order is challenged by the petitioner mainly on the ground that petitioner is widow and under provision of Section 13(6) of the Uttarakhand Annual Transfer for Public Servants Act, 2017 (hereinafter referred to as ‘the Transfer Act’), petitioner has been given a right to make a request for transfer her to area of her choice. 3. It is contended by learned counsel for petitioner that though petitioner has moved the representation dated 24.04.2026 to respondent No.2, but in the said representation, she has not disclosed her choice where she wants to be transferred. Therefore, she may be given liberty to make a fresh representation. 4. In such view of the matter, the writ petition is disposed of granting liberty to petitioner to move a fresh UKHC010106632026 2026:UHC:5003 2 representation to respondent No.2 enumerating therein the places, to which she can be transferred, within a period of 10 days from today. If such a representation is moved by petitioner, the same shall be decided by respondent No.2 within further 07 days, by reasoned and speaking order, in the light of provisions contained in Section 13(6) of the Transfer Act, and she shall be transferred at one of the places given by her in the said representation. 5.
