JUSTICE DEVASHIS BARUAH ORDER Date : 02.06.2026 Heard Mr. Supongwati Walling, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the Petitioner and Mr. Ajungli, the learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the Respondents. 2. The Petitioner has approached this Court seeking a direction upon the Respondent Authorities to consider the case of the Petitioner in terms with the Office Memorandum dated 17.09.2015 read with the Addendum dated 09.04.2019. 3. This Court has duly taken note of the facts under which the Petitioner has approached this Court. 4. The records reveal that the father of the Petitioner who was working as a Driver at the District Tuberculosis Centre Office, Mokokchung unfortunately expired on 13.01.2026. Thereupon, the Petitioner submitted an application on 20.04.2026 before the Page No.# 3/4 Principal Director, Health and Family Welfare, Nagaland, Kohima for compassionate appointment. Subsequent thereto, the Petitioner has approached this Court by filing the present writ petition on 25.05.2026. 5. In the opinion of this Court, the present petition is pre-mature taking into account that the Petitioner’s father expired only in the month of January, 2026 and further to that, the Petitioner had submitted the application on 20.04.2026 and filed the instant writ petition on 25.05.2026. 6. This Court has also heard Mr. Ajungli the learned Government Advocate for the Respondents who submitted that if the Petitioner has submitted the application, the same would be duly considered in terms with the Office Memorandum dated 17.09.2015 read with the Addendum dated 09.04.2019. 7. Considering the above, this Court does not find the present case to be a fit case for issuance of notice in the present facts and circumstances. 8. Accordingly, the writ petition stands closed. 9. Liberty however is given to the Petitioner to again approach this Court in the circumstance, the Page No.# 4/4 Petitioner’s case is not considered in accordance with the Office Memorandum dated 17.09.2015 read with the addendum dated 09.04.2019.
