This misc. application has been filed seeking correction of the judgment and order dated 15-09-2025, passed in WP(C) No. 346 of 2024. 2026:MLHC:953 3 The said correction sought by the applicant appears in paragraph No. 2 and paragraph 6 of the judgment, wherein the word “UGC” is sought to be corrected to “AICTE”. 2. Mr. S.Sen, learned counsel for the applicant submits that the correction is necessary in view of the fact that the relevant Notification dated 04-01-2016 was issued by the AICTE with regard to relaxation in eligibility and not by the UGC. 3. This application however, has been resisted by the State respondents who have submitted that the correction is not as simple as it is made out to be, inasmuch as, the appearance of the word UGC was on the basis of the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner itself, and further it would change the complexion of the matter. 4. This Court has noted the submissions but however, as it is reported that the matter is pending consideration in a writ appeal, this matter is closed at this stage leaving the parties to place this point for consideration before the Hon’ble Division Bench. 5. Misc. case accordingly stands disposed of. Judge 2026:MLHC:953 Digitally signed by SAMANTHA ANNA LIYA RYNJAH Date: 2026.08.28 17:45:41 IST
