The present writ petition has been filed in public interest seeking a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to remove encroachment from Khasra No.186, 204, 205 in Village Shikhkar, Pargana Mangalore, Tehsil Roorkee, District Haridwar. 4. Learned State Counsel has placed on record the instructions received from Tehsildar, Roorkee, according to which, certain temporary encroachments made by private persons over the afore-said land have already been removed. It is also stated that on 01.07.2025, the Revenue Authorities have carried out fresh measurements and found Rakampal, Padam Singh and Rajesh, having encroached upon some part of the land by making pucca houses. It is also stated that proceedings for their ejectment from the said land under Section 122-B of the U.P. ZA and LR Act have already been initiated. 5. As the respondents have already set in motion legal proceedings against the encroachers, therefore, no further direction is required to be issued except for the observation that the proceedings already undertaken be taken to their logical conclusion expeditiously. 6. In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of accordingly. 7. Pending application, if any, also stands disposed of. (Subhash Upadhyay, J.)
