Heard Sri Ramesh Kumar Chaurasia, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Nand Lal Maurya, learned standing counsel for the state-respondents. 2. The instant writ petition has been filed for the following relief:- "Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus, directing the respondent no.2/Deputy District Magistrate, Sadar, Ballia to decide the applications dated 30.4.2025 and 2.6.2026 for demarcation of arazies situated in village Senduria Kothiya, Tehsil Sadar, Ballia within the stipulated period." 3. Counsel for the petitioner submitted that application for demarcation filed on behalf of the petitioner has not been registered, as such, the authorities be directed to register the proceeding and decide the same within time-bound period. 4. On the other hand, learned standing counsel for the State submitted that there is no compliance of the provisions contained under the U.P. Revenue Code, 2006 and the Rules framed thereunder in filing the aforementioned application for demarcation, as such, the proceeding cannot be registered under Section 24 of the U.P. Revenue Code, 2006. 5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the instant writ petition is disposed of with the liberty to the petitioner to file proper application for demarcation after making compliance of the provisions contained under the U.P.
