2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Bhawanipur P.S. Case No. 141 of 2025, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 103(2), 80, 85 of BNS and Section ¾ of D.P. Act.
3. The prosecution case, in brief, is that the informant alleged that on 12.07.2025 he received information that his 16- year-old daughter had been killed by throttling. Upon reaching the place of occurrence with his family, he found villagers and police present. It is alleged that the deceased had earlier been assaulted by the petitioner and his family members and she had also informed about dowry demands for a bed, gold, and ₹2 lakh, along with threats to kill her.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated. The petitioner does not bear any criminal antecedent. The petitioner is father-in-law of the deceased and the allegation against him is general and omnibus.
5. On the other hand, the learned APP for the State has opposed the prayer for bail.
6. Considering the seriousness of the allegation that all the accused persons including the petitioner were involved in throttling the daughter of the informant which led to her death, I am not inclined to grant privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
7. This bail application is accordingly rejected.
