UKHC010104472026 2026:UHC:5009 SL. No. Date Office Notes, reports, orders or proceedings or directions and Registrar’s order with Signatures COURT’S OR JUDGE’S ORDERS WPMS/1840/2026 Mohit Kumar Garg --Petitioner Versus State of Uttarakhand --Respondent Hon’ble Manoj Kumar Tiwari, J. Mr. Kaushal Sah Jagati and Mr. Yogesh Upadhyay, Advocates for the petitioner. 2. Mr. Yogesh Pandey, Deputy Advocate General for the State of Uttarakhand. 3. Petitioner has made a representation to Sub Divisional Magistrate, Jaspur, District Udham Singh Nagar on 03.06.2026. Petitioner has sought a direction to the said authority to take decision thereupon. 4. Learned State Counsel was asked to get instructions. On instructions, he submits that there is a projection in the house of the petitioner, which creates obstruction in the movement of Tazia during Muharram. He, however, submits that since petitioner has sought a writ of mandamus and he has also made representation in this regard, therefore, the writ petition can be disposed of by directing the competent authority to take decision in the matter. 5. The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of with a direction to the Sub Divisional Magistrate concerned to take decision on the pending representation of the petitioner, as per law, within one week from the date of presentation of certified copy of this order.
