By the present petition, the petitioners seek quashment of the tender notice dated 15/10/2025 issued for allotment of shops in the newly constructed complex at Old Bus Stand, Imlipara, Bilaspur, and further seek a direction to respondent No. 3 not to allot any shop to the general public without first considering the claim of the petitioners. 2. At the outset, learned counsel appearing for the parties submit that pursuant to the order dated 08/08/2025 passed by the Hon’ble Supreme Court in Sarita Thakre & Others v. Municipal Corporation, Bilaspur & Others {SLP (C) Diary No. 38084/2025}, liberty was granted to the petitioners therein to submit a representation to the respondents for allotment of suitable space for carrying on their business. It is submitted that, in pursuance thereof, the present petitioners have submitted their representation, which is still pending consideration, and therefore, a direction may be issued to respondent No. 3 to consider and decide the same in accordance with law. 3. In view of the submissions made and without entering into the merits of the case, the present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No. 3 to consider and decide the pending representation of the petitioners expeditiously, preferably within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case, and the concerned authority shall decide the representation 4 independently, in accordance with law, without being influenced by any observations made in this order.
