Paliwal, learned counsel for the petitioner. Mr. Narayan Dutt, learned Standing Counsel for the State. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Hon’ble Pankaj Purohit, J. By means of present writ petition, petitioner has sought the quashing of the transfer order dated 11.06.2026, whereby petitioner was transferred from Doiwala, Dehradun to Thauldhar, Tehri Garhwal. 2. According to petitioner, he is working as Assistant Development Officer (ADO), Block Doiwala. Keeping in view the illness of the petitioner's wife, he was transferred from Block Kalsi to Block Doiwala vide transfer order dated 11.11.2025, and petitioner joined at Doiwala immediately thereafter. 3. It is contended by the learned counsel for the petitioner that petitioner has been transferred within a brief stint of seven months, therefore, transfer order is illegal and needs to be interfered with by this Court. Considering the peculiar facts and circumstances that the petitioner has been transferred within seven months from the date of his posting at Block Doiwala, by the impugned order, this Court grants liberty to the petitioner to make a fresh representation to respondent no.2, Commissioner, Rural Development Department, Pauri Garhwal, within a period of ten days from today. Till decision is taken on the representation, petitioner shall not be relieved from the present place of his posting. 5. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. 6.
