The prayer of the petitioner is that she be transferred from her present place of posting i.e. Government 1Whether reporters of the local papers may be allowed to see the judgment? 2 2026:HHC:7118 High School Kandlu, under Complex Government Senior Secondary School, Mahunnag, Tehsil Karsog, District Mandi, H.P., on the ground that she is single mother who is looking after two children aged 11 years and 5 years, who are studying at Sunder Nagar, District Mandi, H.P. and are residing with her in-laws. 3. Learned proxy counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner unfortunately lost her husband in the year
2021. Thereafter, there is no other male member in the family except her father-in-law, who is 88 years old. He further submits that the petitioner has two children. The boy is aged 11 years and daughter is aged 5 years, who are studying at Sunder Nagar, District Mandi, H.P. In these circumstances, he prays that in the peculiar facts of the case, the petitioner had represented to the Authorities for her transfer to a convenient station as spelled out in the representation, but till date needful has not been done. 4. Learned Advocate General submits that in light of the facts, as they are mentioned in the petition, the representation of the petitioner shall be decided expeditiously
3 2026:HHC:7118 and that too sympathetically, after giving her personal hearing. 5. In light of the assurance given by the learned Advocate General, this petition is disposed of with the direction that let the representation of the petitioner be decided, within a period of four weeks from today, after affording her personal hearing and if possible, the petitioner be adjusted at a convenient station. Pending miscellaneous application(s), if any, also stand disposed of accordingly.
