By means of this writ petition, petitioners have sought the following relief: “Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing the respondent to decide and expedite the hearing regarding implementation of order dated 28/10/2020 by the respondent office under Rule 25(2)(v)(a) of the Contract Labour (Regulation and Abolition) Central Rules, 1971 in respect of contract workers engaged through contractor.” 3. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that proceedings are on before the Deputy Chief Labour Commissioner since October, 2020. 4. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, writ petition is disposed of with a direction to Deputy Chief Labour Commissioner, to have the proceedings concluded within six months from date of presentation of certified copy of this order.
