Petitioner is a single mother with minor child on account whereof she seeks transfer from her present place of engagement to a school closer to her residence. 3. The application for transfer has been made through proper channel by the petitioner to the school authorities, which has not yet been considered and not forwarded by the school authorities to the concerned District Inspector of Schools. 4. In spite of service, none appears on behalf of the school authorities. 5. Respondent no. 4 is directed to immediately act on the application of the petitioner and if found otherwise eligible, forward the same to the 2 concerned District Inspector of Schools by May 15, 2026. 6. With the aforestated directions, the writ petition is, thus, disposed of. 7.
