The petitioner who seeks withdrawal of admission to MBBS course at Gautam Buddha Chikitsa Mahavidyalaya Dr. K.K.B.M. Subharti Hospital, has been informed by the impugned communication dated 15.04.2026, that the request for withdrawal having been made after three rounds of counseling, it would be permissible only upon deposit of the entire course fee. 2. The case of the petitioner is that he is not keeping good health and has been diagnosed with serious neuro condition by a specialist Neuro Hospital i.e. Dehradun Super Specialty Hospital (Brain & Spine Centre) on 22.11.2025, therefore, he is not in position to pursue his course. 1 UKHC010104812026 2026:UHC:4946-DB 3. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of respondent no.1 Mr. Shivam Raturi submits that, as per UGC Notification issued in October, 2018, the fees cannot be refunded after third round of counseling. 4. We find that under the same Notification, it is specifically provided that complaint regarding non-refund of fees shall be examined in accordance with the UGC (Grievance Redressal Regulations, 2012). 5. In view of the same, we permit the petitioner to avail the remedy provided under the (Grievance Redressal Regulations, 2012. In case, any complaint is made by the petitioner under the said Regulations, the same shall be decided expeditiously. 6. The petition stands disposed of. 7.
