Petitioner has challenged notification dated 07.09.2018 issued by Secretary, Transport, whereby length of Dehradun-Lalatpad route was extended from 20 kms to 30 kms. 4. According to petitioner, he is a transport operator, however, he was not given opportunity of hearing while issuing impugned notification. 5. The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of with liberty to petitioner to file objection, if any, against the impugned notification before the Secretary, Transport, within two weeks from today. If he files objection within stipulated time, Secretary shall consider the same and pass necessary order, as per law, within six months thereafter. It goes without saying that the persons likely to be prejudiced by the decision shall also be heard.
