The grievance raised in the instant writ petition is that the petitioner despite being promoted from the post of Junior Engineer to Assistant Engineer by order dated 30.06.2023, has not been paid promotional benefits as certain amount is shown to be outstanding against him under the miscellaneous advance head. 2. The petitioner has already represented to the Department against withholding of the promotional benefits and prays for a direction to respondent no.1 to decide the said representation. 3. Having regard to the facts of the case and the submissions made, writ petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to make fresh representation along with copy of the instant order before the respondent no.1.
