The present petition has been preferred by petitioner under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking following reliefs:- “10.1 That, in light of the fact and circumstances of the case, it is humbly prayed that this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to issue appropriate writ(s)/direction(s) for protection of the temple and further quash the show cause notice dated 20/02/2026 of Annexure P/8, as the temple exist since more than 100 years and is center of faith for the beneficiaries and public at large. 10.2 Any other relief/direction that the Court may deem fit in the facts and circumstances of the case.” 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner-Trust is in possession of Aabadi Khasra No.691, admeasuring area 8900 sq. ft., on which a charitable school is being run by the Trust, occupying an area of 6650 sq. ft. Out of the aforementioned total area, a Lord Vishnu temple has been situated on 2250 sq. ft. for about 100 years. Despite that, a show cause notice dated 20.02.2026 (Annexure P-8) has been issued to the petitioner by the Tehsildar, Raipur /Respondent No.3. Hence, learned counsel submits that the present petition may be admitted for hearing. 3. In reply, learned counsel for the State/Respondents would submit that Annexure-P/8, which has been challenged by the petitioner, is merely a show cause notice. It is further submitted that the petitioner has already 3 filed a reply before the Tehsildar, Raipur /Respondent No.3, and therefore, the instant petition is premature. 4. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the records, it is found that the present petition is premature, as only a show cause notice dated 20.02.2026 (Annexure-P/8) has been issued by the Tehsildar, Raipur to the petitioner and according to the counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner has already filed a reply to the said show cause notice. Further, notice has been given to the petitioner to submit documents in respect of his possession on the said land. Since only a show cause notice has been issued by respondent No.3/Tehsildar, Raipur, this Court is not inclined to entertain the present petition, hence, the same is dismissed, as premature. 5.
