During the pendency of the suits, the Decree Holder has taken possession of the property through the process of Court. 2. It is submitted that, pursuant to the interim order granted by this Court, the respondent- plaintiff/Landlord has deposited the security deposit before this Court. 3. Learned counsel for the appellant submits that the dispute is settled and the parties have signed the Joint Memo dated 16.04.2026 reporting settlement. 4. In terms of the Joint Memo, the respondent- plaintiff/ Landlord has agreed to release the amount in deposit in favour of the appellant-defendant/tenant along with interest accrued, if any. 6. Both the appeals stand disposed of in terms of the Joint memo. 7. The amount in deposit shall be released in favour of the appellant-defendant/tenant along with interest accrued, if any.
