By means of this writ petition, petitioner has sought the following relief: “Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to change the name of the Government Inter College Gadoli and keep new name on the name of martyr Rajesh Singh Inter College Gadoli as per law so that his sacrifice for his counter be remembered.” 3. The relief as claimed cannot be granted, as it is not for the Court while exercising power of judicial review to issue direction to the competent authority to change name of a school. 4. The writ petition, however, is disposed of with liberty to petitioner to make representation before the competent authority.
