2. The writ application has been preferred praying for expeditious disposal of the certificate proceedings initiated on 11th May,
2021.
3. It appears that in December, 2025, the Certificate Officer has issued a notice to the private respondent and passed an order to that effect.
4. It is submitted that since then the case has not proceeded.
5. None appears for the State in spite of service.
6. Accordingly, the writ application is disposed of with the direction that the Certificate Officer in the present case being the respondent no. 4 being supervised by the respondent no. 5, the District Magistrate & Collector, Hooghly, shall make all endeavour to dispose of the certificate proceedings expeditiously,
2 preferably within four months from the date of this order.
7. The writ application stands disposed of.
8. Connected application, if any, stands disposed of.
9. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
