Learned Additional Government Advocate takes notice for all the respondents. 2. It is the contention of the petitioner that several persons including the petitioner was granted lands to an

extent of 30 guntas each as found at Annexure-B. The names of one of such grantee is entered in the revenue records as found at page No.21 at Annexure-C. The petitioner has given a representation to the respondent- Tahsildar at Annexure-F dated 31.07.2025 seeking to enter the name of the petitioner's grandfather in the revenue records while also seeking issuance of saguvali chit. However, the Tahsildar has not considered the representation till date. 3. The prayer in the petition is to issue a writ of mandamus directing respondent No.4-Tahsildar, Devanahalli Taluk, to issue saguvali chit in favour of the petitioner's grandfather.
The counsel further prays that directions be issued to the respondent-Tahsildar to enter the name of the petitioner's grandfather in the revenue records. 4. The writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to respondent No.4 – Tahasildar, Devanahalli

Taluk to consider the representation given by the petitioner at Annexure-F dated 31.07.2025, verify the records and find out whether Sri.Doddappa was indeed granted the land. If it is found that the Committee had in fact regularised the land in favour of Sri.Doddappa the Tahasildar shall proceed to pass necessary orders issuing Saguvali chit and enter his name in the land records pursuant to the issuance of the Saguvali chit. Subsequent to that the Tahsildar shall look into the aspect of the legal heirs of Sri.Doddappa and after verifying the same he shall proceed to enter the names of the legal heirs in accordance with law. The entire exercise shall be completed as expeditiously as possible and at any rate within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Ordered accordingly. - 5 -
