According to petitioner, he could not submit online application for obtaining scanned copy of answer-scripts in respect of Class-XII examination conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education. It is contended that he can apply for revaluation only after getting scanned copy of the answer-scripts. 4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the website of Central Board of Secondary Education was overloaded, therefore, every attempt made by petitioner for submitting online application result in failure, therefore, he has approached this Court seeking the following relief:- “(i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus directing the respondent Central Board of Secondary Education to permit the petitioner to submit online/offline application form for providing scanned copy of his Answer Books of Class XII Board Examination and also to apply for verification of issue/re-evaluation, as per the Post Result Declaration Facilities provided by the Circular dated 15.05.2026 (Annexure No. 2 to the writ petition, from Page No. 24 to Page No. 34) by extending the date, otherwise undue hardship will be caused to the petitioner, who will not be able to take admission pursuant to qualifying JEE (Advance) Examination-2026.” UKHC010104642026 2026:UHC:4912 5. Learned counsel appearing for the Central Board of Secondary Education, however, submits that more than 18000 students in Dehradun region had applied for obtaining scanned copy of answer- scripts, therefore, the contention raised by petitioner’s counsel that attempt made by petitioner to submit online application was unsuccessful, cannot be believed. He, however, submits that petitioner can make representation to the Controller of Examination, Central Board of Secondary Education. 6. The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of with liberty to petitioner to make representation to the Controller of Examination, Central Board of Secondary Education. If he makes representation within 24 hours, decision thereupon shall be taken, as per law, within one week. It shall be open to the petitioner to submit representation online.
