The petitioner, above-named, who is in custody since 04.12.2025 in connection with Gumla P.S. Case No.400 of 2025 for the offence registered under Sections 21(a), 21(b), 22(b) and 29 of the NDPS Act has prayed for regular bail. It is submitted by the learned counsel on behalf of petitioner that as per the case of prosecution, small quantity i.e. 3 gms. of brown sugar was seized from the petitioner. It is submitted that the petitioner has committed no offence and due to village politics, he has been involved in this case. Learned A.P.P. for the State has opposed the prayer for bail. It is submitted that total 16 gms. of brown sugar was seized from three accused persons and the petitioner is alleged to have involved in the alleged offence. Under the circumstances, the above-named petitioner is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/-(Twenty- Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Court below.
