In spite of service, none appears on behalf of the school authorities. 3. The petitioner is an Assistant Teacher. He had applied for transfer on general ground. The application has, however, been rejected by the school authorities in 2021 without assigning any reason. Since a long time has lapsed from rejection of the application, the petitioner is directed to file a fresh application in the prescribed form with the school authorities by April 30, 2026. 4. The school authorities will consider the same and expedite the onward progression by sending such application to the concerned District Inspector of 2 Schools (S.E.), Howrah, if he is otherwise eligible. 5. Since the ‘Utsashree Portal’ is suspended, the application will be made in the offline mode and be considered by the school and other authorities in the offline mode. 6. With the afore-stated directions, the writ petition is, thus, disposed of. 7. There shall, however, be no order as to costs. 8.
