The writ petition has been filed by petitioner on the ground that the petitioner, who belongs to the S.T. category, was not recommended for appointment to the post of Instructor (Welder) in Government Industrial Training Institute, in the selection process conducted by the Selecting Body. 5. The submission of the petitioner is that since no woman candidate was found in the S.T. category, therefore, post should have been converted to the S.T. (Male) category. 6. This Court, vide order dated 15.06.2026, directed learned counsel for the Selecting Body to get instructions in the matter. 7. Today, he supplied instructions to the Court, which are taken on record. On instructions, he submits that after the non-availability of an S.T. woman candidate, the said post was converted to S.T. (Male), and after such conversion, petitioner and another candidate from the merit list were called for document verification. During document verification, petitioner's caste certificate was not found to be valid UKHC010101802026 2026:UHC:4942 as the same was obtained by the petitioner after the date of submission of application. 8. Since, the Selecting Body has not yet passed a final order in respect of the petitioner, Respondent- Selecting Body is directed to pass an appropriate order, in accordance with law, within ten days from today. 9. With the aforesaid direction, the writ petition stands disposed of. 10. Let certified copy of this order be issued to the parties, today itself, on payment of usual charges.
