CRL.M.(BAIL) 517/2026 (extension of interim bail) 3. By way of the instant application, the applicant seeks extension of interim bail for a period of one month granted vide order dated 12.02.2026, in case arising out of FIR bearing no. 475/2021, registered at Police Station Dwarka, Sector-23, Delhi for the commission of offence punishable under Sections 420/468/471/120B/467/419 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (hereafter ‘IPC'). 4. Issue notice. The learned APP accepts notice on behlaf of the State. This is a digitally signed order. The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the applicant submits that he is assisting the main counsel in the present bail application and is authorised to address arguments. 6. The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the applicant submits that the applicant was granted interim bail vide order dated 12.02.2026 by this Court, however, he could be released from jail only on 28.02.2026. He further submits that the applicant is to be admitted in the hospital on 16.03.2026 and thereafter the surgery will be conducted on 17.03.2026. 7. The learned APP appearing on behalf of the State does not oppose the present interim bail application. 8. Considering the overall facts and circumstances of the present case, also keeping in mind the medical condition of the applicant and the period of custody undergone by him, this Court is inclined to grant interim bail to the applicant for a period of two weeks from the date of his release, subject to his surgery being conducted on 17.03.2026, on the same terms and conditions imposed by this Court, vide order dated 12.02.2026. It is clarified that the applicant will surrender immediately before the concerned Jail Superintendent, after the expiry of his interim bail. 9. It is also clarified that in case, the surgery of the applicant will not be conducted on 17.03.2026, he shall surrender before the concerned Jail Superintendent. 10. In view of above terms, the present application stands disposed of. 11. The order be uploaded on the website forthwith. DR.
