It is the case of the petitioner that she was working as Village Assistant at Gengadevan Kuppam Village, Cheyyur Taluk, Chengalpattu District, under the control of the 3rd respondent. According to the petitioner, on an allegation of demanding bribe, a false case was foisted against her and a case in Crime No.2/2023, dated 17.07.2023 was registered and she was remanded to judicial custody. Thereafter, on 19.07.2023, she was issued with suspension order by the 3rd respondent. The petitioner had submitted her representation dated 30.10.2025 to respondents 1 to 3, seeking to revoke the suspension order and to reinstate her into service. Since, the same was not considered to date, the petitioner is before this Court. 3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, in support of his case, has relied on the judgment of the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Ajay Kumar Choudhry Vs Union of India reported in (2015) 7 SCC 291 and also has drawn reference to G.O.Ms.No.81, Human Resources Management (N) Department, https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis WP No. 11337 of 2026 __________ Page3 of 4 dated 04.08.2022, wherein time limits were fixed for finalisation of the disciplinary proceedings. 4. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader who takes notice on behalf of the respondents. 5. Without going into the merits of the case, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 30.10.2025 and shall pass speaking orders in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
