2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that this petition be disposed of with the direction that let the representation (Annexure P-7) filed by the petitioner be decided now in light of the judgment passed by the Hon’ble Supreme Court in Surajmani’s case.

The petition is accordingly disposed of with the direction that let the representation (Annexure P-7) filed by the petitioner be decided by the competent Authority, in the light of the contents thereof as well as the judgment in Surajmani’s case as modified by the Hon’ble Supreme Court, within a period of 12 weeks’ from today. Pending miscellaneous application(s), if any, also stand disposed of accordingly.
