JUSTICE ANUP JAIRAM BHAMBHANI O R D E R % 11.03.2026 Though by way of the present petition filed under section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita 2023, the petitioners seek quashing of the subject FIR bearing No.18/2025 dated 09.01.2025 registered under sections 118(1)/3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 at P.S.: Dabri, Delhi on consent, however upon interacting with respondent No.2 (complainant/victim), it is evident that the victim has been tutored, since to begin with, he made a statement before this court that it was not the petitioners, who had assaulted him at all and that it was some third person, who had committed the offence against him. Subsequently however, the victim has changed his stand and confirms that it was petitioner No.1, who had assaulted him with a knife. Be that as it may, in the circumstances, this court is not satisfied that the purported settlement arrived at between the parties vide Settlement Deed dated 26.11.2025 is voluntary on the part of the complainant.
