Nirmolchand, learned senior counsel assisted by Mr. Y. Nikhil, learned counsel appeared on behalf of the respondents. [3] The present writ petition has been filed with a prayer for directing the respondents to pay and clear three months rental fees for hiring a vehicle of the petitioner by the respondents amounting to Rs. 1,71,000/- (Rupees one lakh seventy one thousand) only. Considering the simple relief as sought for in the present writ petition, the present writ petition was referred for Mediation by an order dated 14-07-2026. The Secretary, High Court Legal Services Committee, High Court of Manipur, submitted the Mediation report under letter dated 30-07- WP(C) No. 515 of 2026 2026 before this Court. The scan copy of the terms of settlement arrived at between the parties are reproduced hereunder :- WP(C) No. 515 of 2026 [5] It has been submitted by the learned senior counsel appearing WP(C) No. 515 of 2026 for the respondents that as the dispute has been amicably settled, the present writ petition can be closed in terms of the above quoted settlement arrived at between the parties. [6] In view of the factual position narrated hereinabove, this Court is of the considered view that the present writ petition can be closed as the dispute between the parties has been amicably settled. [7] Accordingly, the present writ petition is hereby disposed of in terms of the settlement arrived at between the parties on 30-07-2026, which has been quoted herein above. JUDGE Dhakeshori
